Is there some kind of shim or something i can buy to get a 1 inch tav on a 6.5?

Not real keen on selling/swapping it as the 6.5 is temporary till i buy an 8 or 9 with a 1 inch shaft.

You could get someone to lathe up a sleeve to fit along the 3/4" shaft so that it makes it a 1". Use the keyway from the 3/4" shaft to keep it in place. You would just REALLY have to make sure it isn't brittle cause that would not end well for the winch and anyone near it :P.

PS Just remembered that may not even work cause when you bolt on a Tav, there is a threaded rod that you use to hold it in place which goes through the center of the shaft on the engine, and that probably will be too big for your 6.5hp engine (length and width wise). I had this problem when I bought an 8hp engine that was .5 of an inch too wide for my TAV, I was gonna lathe it down but I mean by the time you get all the machining done and everything (assuming you don't destroy your engine in the process) it ends up costing half the price of just buying a new engine :P

jake just buy a different tav, there not that much
